Changing Affiliate level commission rates

In this guide you’ll learn how to change Affiliate level commission rates. It’s incredibly simple and can be done in just a few clicks, directly from your My Affiliates page.

When affiliates are approved into your program, Avelon automatically sets their commission rate at your baseline level. This is the level you set when you onboarded to Avelon and is available to change through the Settings section of your profile. This guide is designed to explain how you can change every affiliates commission agreement one-by-one. This is incredibly useful if you have a wide range of affiliates you work with and want to offer different affiliates different commission structures.

Please be aware: the affiliate must be approved into your program to amend a commission rate. This guide is designed for affiliates who have already been approved into your program. You can set affiliate level commission at the invite level, too.

How to change affiliate level commission

Setting affiliate level commissions is performed within the My Affiliates section of your Avelon profile:

Go to My Affiliates
Click the yellow set commission button next to the affiliates name
Set the commission rate in the commission % box
Press Update

The affiliate will receive an email stating that their commission has been updated, alongside a new terms and conditions statement being issued within the status update email.

1. Click Set commission

Click the Set commission button next to the affiliate in question. This affiliate must be approved into your program to change their commission.

2. Enter the commission %

Enter the commission % you’d like to offer the affiliate. The box on the right named Affiliate will receive (NET %) shows how much commission the affiliate will receive.

3. Press Update

Press the Update button. This will immediately update and the affiliate will receive an email stating that their commission agreement has been updated, alongside a new terms and conditions outline which is included at the bottom of their new commission agreement.
