How to set affiliate level commissions for affiliates

Here’s how to set commissions for affiliates within your program. There are specific hierarchy’s for commissions, so we recommend you read how they interact with each other.

  1. Program level – Program level is a blanket commission across your entire program. This is what all affiliates who get accepted into your program will automatically be assigned.
  2. Affiliate level – Affiliate level means you can offer commission to specific affiliates
  3. SKU level – SKU level means you can assign a commission % against a specific SKU. For example, a pair of shoes could be assigned 10% whilst a hat could be assigned 12%
  4. Flat rate commission / CPA – CPA means you can offer a flat monetary value for each conversion. This is designed for eBooks and insurance companies

Program level commissions

Program level commission applies to all affiliates who are accepted into your program, unless you have set either Affiliate Level or SKU level commission.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Scroll down to Set default commissions
  3. Enter the commission you’d like to offer
  4. Scroll up and press the yellow Save button

Affiliate level commissions

Setting Affiliate level commission is almost as simple as setting Program level commission. The specific affiliate must be accepted into your program for you to set Affiliate level commission.

  1. Go to My Affiliates
  2. Find the affiliate you like by searching for their name in the Search Affiliate box
  3. Click the % Set commission button (yellow). This will take you to their profile
  4. Under Agreement, you’ll find their commission agreement. Enter the desired commission into the Commission % box and press Update

SKU level commissions

Setting SKU level commission is once again, incredibly simple. We recommend only doing this if you have a sale on or would like to alter commission for specific products and/or affiliates.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Scroll down to Commission Table and click Download Template
  3. Open the downloaded template and follow the instructions on the sheet
  4. Once you’re happy, just download the template again and re-upload the sheet back into the upload box
  5. The system will notify you of any errors, or if everything is properly formatted, it will notify you that it has accepted your upload
If there are any problems with your upload, please notify your account manager who can assess the template and check for any errors manually. Please be aware: the sheet does not accept symbols so please do not add % into the sheet, as we add that manually.
