How to integrate Citrus Lime with Avelon
Unlike Shopify, WooCommerce, CraftCMS, Magento or BigCommerce – Citrus Lime does not offer an app store and therefore, integration takes place through their development team. We’ve made custom integration docs to ensure requesting integration is incredibly simple.
The time it takes the Citrus Lime team to integrate with Avelon is around 1-week, but actual time for development is about 30-minutes.
Please be aware: you must have received your onboarding documents, agreed to our terms and conditions and have completed your direct debit prior to proceeding with notifying Citrus Lime of your onboarding request.
Step one
Create a support ticket on the Citrus Lime website and request integration with Avelon. You will be provided a script overview to add to your support ticket.
Step two
Add your userID and token into the support ticket, which can be found in your Avelon Settings panel. To find your userID and token, simply follow this guide.
Step three
Wait time is around 1-week for Citrus Lime is integrate. Actual development time is around 30-minutes, but from start to finish, it takes about that time.

What data does Avelon use to attribute sales?
Data privacy is at the forefront of what we do, and as such, the amount of data we collect is minimal and non-invasive. We use a mixture of hashed and encrypted first-party cookies to track clickID’s and userID’s, which are specific to the user but outside of Avelon’s servers, are completely meaningless. We never collect consumer names, shipping addresses, mobile numbers etc, unlike other platforms.
Does the integration effect site speed?
No, our plug-in does not impact site speed. It functions by injecting a server-side script, operating off-site, to identify the presence of a cookie on the user. There is no need for extensive script lines on every page or during checkout. Instead, we utilize a POST API call, accessible through the application, to transmit data to us upon the completion of a checkout.
Do I have to use the integration?
The integration with Citrus Lime is essential for compatibility with Avelon. Without utilising one of our plug-ins, tracking your sales becomes unfeasible. To ensure the integrity of our system, we conduct a script checker every 20 minutes on all plug-ins, actively identifying and preventing any fraudulent activities originating from brands and retailers.
How long does integration take?
Integration usually takes around 1-week from start to end, but actual development time is only around 30-minutes. We recommend checking in with your Citrus Lime representative throughout the process.
Does the integration also track discount codes?
Yes, the Avelon integration does track discount codes that have been assigned to affiliates in the system. A discount code must be assigned to an affiliate, otherwise our system will not recognise the discount code and dispose of the sale data.
