My application to a program has been denied - what now?

What do I do if my application has been denied?

There are many reasons why a merchant may deny you access to their program. Some of the top reasons are:

  1. Your profile is not complete and they don’t know enough about you
  2. They are not looking for new partnerships at the current time
  3. You do not match the criteria of what they are looking for in a new partnership
We recommend making sure your profile is completed to a high standard before applying to a program (first impressions count).

Whilst giving reasons is optional, merchants will (more often than not) give a reason for denying access to a program. This reason will be included in the denial email you received.

 

Can I reapply to a program?

Yes – you can reapply to a program 24-hours after you have been denied. 

We recommend waiting a while to reapply, or just *take a deep breath* and assess your profile before applying again. There will always be a reason behind being denied and unless you annoyed the person who manages the program in a previous life, then there will be a logical reason.
