All payments through Avelon are automated and we use Stripe & Wise to transfer commissions across the world.

If you already have a Stripe account, you can connect it to Avelon for automated payments. If you would rather just add your bank details, we recommend using the Wise option.

Please be aware that users outside of the UK & EU will only see Wise as the payment option.

Countries we support for automatic payments

Avelon is a UK based company and uses a combination of Stripe and WISE to make payments across the world. Within the UK and European Union, we use both WISE and Stripe to process payments which allows us to automate all commission payments.

WISE allows you to add your bank account details, whilst Stripe requires you to create an account and sync your bank account. Think of it like Wise is our bank account and we transfer you funds, whilst we allocated funds to your bank account in Stripe, they holds your funds and then you draw down the funds when you want to.

If you’re an affiliate based outside of the EU, we use WISE to make commission payments. These payments are still automated but require you to add your bank details/receiver details to our system.

Where can I see how much commission I have earned?

You can see how much commission you have earned in two ways:

1. Dashboard (see below). This shows you how much commission you earned on the specified month.

You can also adjust your date range to view exactly how much you have earned via your sales and clicks. Total Earnings from sales explains how much you have earned from sales, whilst Earned from clicks explains how much you have earned if you have been promoting clicks on a cpc (cost per click) basis.

2. Your Wallet. Your wallet shows how much commission you will be paid at the end of the billing cycle. It’s like your own bank account with Avelon.

You can access your Wallet by going to Account > scrolling down to your Wallet.

Please be aware that your wallet updates on the 15th of every month for the previous billing cycles commission. You can read more about this below.

Your wallet and commission payments, explained

Your wallet updates on the 5th of every month and will show your total commission from the total billing cycle. A billing cycle is a 6-week cycle.

For example, if you earned £50.00 commission from a sale in August, then the commission will be assigned to your wallet on the 5th October. This commission will then be paid on the 15th October.

There is a 30-day ‘query time’ between the end of August and the 5th October. This query time allows the merchant to adjust commission based on returns, cancellations, part-returns or just general issues. Once this period of time has passed, the commission is debited from the merchants designated bank account, assigned to your wallet and then you will be paid your due commissions.

An example of this is below:

  1. Affiliate earns a commission of £50.00 on 20th August
  2. Brand gets invoiced for £50.00 on 1st September
  3. Brand gets until 1st October to query commission
  4. Brand gets debited on 2nd October
  5. Affiliate wallet gets updated on 5th October
  6. Affiliate gets paid £50.00 of commission on 15th October

How often do commissions get paid?

Commission payments are processed on the 15th of the month and usually take 3-4 working days to arrive in your bank account, depending on which payment option you choose.

If you choose Wise and are based inside the European Union or United Kingdom, then your payment will be immediate. If you choose Wise and are based outside of the European Union or United Kingdom, then. your payment will arrive in 3-4 working days.

If you choose Stripe, then it will take 3-4 working days for your funds to arrive in your account. We only transfer funds via Stripe if you are based within the European Union. You will only have Wise as an option if you are outside of the European Union.

You can check the amount you have in your wallet by going to your Dashboard and clicking Account on the left hand side menu.

There is a minimum payout of £20.00 for commission payments.

The blue progress bar shows how close you are to reaching the minimum payout. For example, if you have £18.00 in your wallet you will see you have reached 90% of your payout threshold, as the minimum payout amount is £20.00.

We will notify you via email when a payment is on the way to your bank account. We will also notify you if we have been unable to pay you due to your account not being set up correctly.

Is there a minimum commission payout?

Yes, there is a minimum commission payout of £20.00. You can view your progress via the blue progress bar in your wallet.

Can I request an early payout?

How long do commission payouts take to arrive in my bank account?

Commission payment speed is dependent on your bank – but the usual payment time is 3-4 working days from the day the payment transfer has started.
