Removing an affiliate from your program

If you’ve accidentally accepted an affiliate application or no-longer want to work with an affiliate, you only need to perform one step to remove them from your program.

To remove an affiliate from your program, you just need to:

  • Click My AffiliatesΒ
  • Click the greyΒ Deny button on the line with their name
The affiliate will then be removed from your program and your agreement with them will be terminated as soon as any outstanding cookies/tracking from delivered traffic expires.

How long will my agreement remain in place?

Commissions will still be due for any orders that have been placed alongside any new orders within the attribution window. The attribution window sales are still due because the traffic has been delivered and the cookie has been dropped.

For example, if you deny an affiliate on the 1st August and your attribution is 30-days, then sales will still be recorded from that affiliate until 1st September. You are still liable for these commissions due and will be invoiced as per our standard invoicing terms.

If the affiliate does not remove the link from their advertising, then you will still receive traffic from them, but no cookies/tracking will take place and no sales/commissions will be recorded.

Does the affiliate get notified of being removed?

Yes, the affiliate will be notified immediately of you removing them from your program. They will be advised to remove any links from their advertising.Β
