What are custom conversion endpoints?

This article will explore what custom conversion endpoints are and why they are important for Merchants on custom websites. If you do not have a custom website or a specific webhook you need to use as a conversion, we recommend need reading this, as it will get complicated.

Custom conversion endpoints (CCE’s) are designed for Merchants who have custom websites / who are not on traditional eCommerce platforms where we have a native application for integration. They allow you to set specific custom conversions such as a contact form, PDF download or a sign up – but can be extended to enable specific events within a log in such as upgrading from a free plan to a paid plan. 

To set up a custom conversion endpoint, you must be on our Premium or Enterprise tier. Our Starter plan does not support Custom Conversion Endpoints.

We offer free guided onboarding calls with your developers and step-by-step guides once you have been onboarded. We then test the integration with you to make sure everything is working as expected.

Can I set up a custom conversion endpoint through Google Tag Manager?

Yes, you can set up a custom conversion endpoint and actually complete the integrate through Google Tag Manager. To do this, you’ll need to request the guides from us directly. We can either pass this across to you when you start integration or on our integration call.
