How to invite affiliates to your program

Here’s how to invite affiliates from both inside the platform and off-platform to your program. There are a huge variety of athletes, affiliates and publishers who you can work with – but if you have agreements outside of the platform, you can invite people into the platform to consolidate your agreements into one place.

If the person is already on the platform

All brands can access all affiliates on Avelon, meaning if you’d like to work with an affiliate on the platform, you can just send them an invite. If you would like to send an invite to an affiliate already on Avelon, just follow the below steps.

  1. Click Affiliates
  2. Use the dropdown category selectors to refine your search > press Search
  3. Click the affiliates name or profile picture to open the affiliates profile
  4. Click the yellow Invite button on their profile
  5. When the pop-up opens, enter a message (optional), the commission offered (required) and the discount code you’d like to assign to the affiliate (optional)
When you press invite, an email will be sent to the affiliate including all the above information and an accept/deny button. We will notify you if the affiliate accepts/denies the invite via email and within the platform.

If the person if not on the platform

Not every affiliate is part of Avelon, so we give all brands the ability to invite your current affiliates/ambassadors onto the platform and join your program. There are two ways to do this.

1. External invite feature (single invite)

The single invite feature gives you the option to invite external affiliates one at a time. This is ideal for brands that have a previous relationship with one or two affiliates and are happy with doing the onboarding work for them.

  1. Click My Affiliates > Invitations > Invite affiliate to join Avelon
  2. Fill in the information we require
  3. Click Invite to send the invite to join your program

Once you press invite, the affiliate will get an email with their invitation. Once they press accept, the system will add them to your program and automatically generate the affiliate tracking link and assign them the discount code (only if you assigned them one at invite).

2. Branded sign up page

The branded sign up page is designed for you to either send to potential affiliates or to host on a page of your website within an iFrame. The below image is an example of what the branded sign up page looks like on its own page.

To create a Branded sign up page, just follow the below steps:
  1. Click My Affiliates > Branded signup 
  2. Add a header image into the upload box named header image
  3. Add your header title to the sign up form
  4. Add your description of your program
  5. Press save

To view your branded sign up page, you’ll need to open the url in an incognito window or be signed out. This is because if an affiliate accesses your page and is already part of Avelon, it will sign them in directly to your profile to ensure they don’t sign up multiple times. If you are signed it, it will immediately take you back to your Dashboard.

All applications through this page will come through to your Applications page.

If you would like to host this page on your site, we recommend using an iFrame. Just copy the page URL and use the below link to create an iFrame, then post the code into a page that allows raw HTML.
